When the Evolution 8 hit the stateside, everyone knew that this was going to be one hot tuner car on the market. Injen, as a manufacturer understood that as well and purchased one for their own R&D needs. Understanding that there would be plenty of aftermarket room for the Evo 8, Injen went full force in developing new products to capture their fair share of the market.

Starting off with the exterior, Injen decided to keep the Evolution 8 separate from the pack. Painting and installing on a Veilside Version 1 Full Kit, the Evo 8 took on a new and aggressive stance from the front to the rear. A TEIN Flex Coilover system was then installed on all four corners to give the Evo perfect handling capabilities on the track and on the street. It also allowed Injen to give the car a new lowered stance on the 18x8 Volk Racing SF-Challenges dipped in a gunmetallic shade. Wrapped with none other than Toyo Proxes on all four wheels, the Evo 8 handles and grips like it was meant to.

For those that are aware of Injen and their products, their main focus is on performance needs. Most famous for their intakes, Injen developed and installed their brand new Injen Technology Cold Air Intake Kit with upper intercooler pipe. Along with that is their brand new Injen Technology Front Mount Intercooler system to keep the pressurized boost chill. Now through the hot side is an Injen Technology stainless steel downpipe, test pipe and Injen Technology Super SES Stainless Steel catback exhaust system. Keeping all the amenities under the hood neat and clean is an Injen Technology dress up kit. With all the new add ons that Injen developed, they decided to up the boost through a GReddy Profec B boost controller taking full advantage of all the new goodies Injen had developed for the 4G63. Last but not least, shifting is a breeze thanks to a TWM Performance Short Throw shifter.

So there you have it, Injen's new Project Evolution VIII. With more things on the way for it, they have already developed some of the best products out there for the car. If you own an Evo VIII and are looking for new goodies, make sure you check out Injen at www.injen.com.
